#1: Layered separates

Burberry’s long-sleeved lace dresses, Erdem’s Victorian-esque creations, Roksanda’s voluminous fluffy skirt and Peter Pilotto’s smocked cotton and knit pieces – all are ultra-feminine in a sophisticated, girl-about-town way.

#2: Loud jackets

At Christopher Kane, it was the neon lace cover-up and the psychedelic printed bomber that caught our eyes; at Thomas Tait, the graphic prints on his denim jacket gave his looks a casual, off-duty vibe.

#3: Sheer bottoms

It first popped up as a runway and streetstyle trend last Spring and doesn’t seem to be losing any steam, with Burberry Prorsum and Barbara Casasola trotting out models who sported floor-length chiffon bottoms (and marking the return of the granny panties).

#4: Sheer blousons

From the 3D floral appliques at Burberry Prorsum to Erdem’s pretty embroiderey, the dressy sheer top is also having a moment.
