The event was held as part of Ion Orchard’s Play, the mall’s Fall Winter 2015 campaign. In YSL Beaute’s Kiss & Love collection: A makeup palette, bright lipstick and nail polish shades as well as the Touche Eclat highlighter, all covered in a “lip imprint” motif (yes, it’s actually on the lipstick itself as well as the packaging). Our associate beauty editor Moh Shuying (right) shared why she loves the Kiss & Love makeup palette: It’s travel-friendly, comes with wearable shades and tiny makeup brushes (which many other palettes usually don’t include). YSL Beaute makeup artiste Marsha (right) demonstrated how to pull off the perfect party look using only the Kiss & Love makeup palette. Guests checking out the bright, bold shades from the Holiday collection. The YSL Rouge Pur Couture Kiss & Love Edition is available in the brand’s signature colours: A deep red, an orangey red, a bright fuchsia and a nude pink ($49 each). Four new shimmery colours in the Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks ($49) were also unveiled. The colours are more pearlescent than the Rouge Pur Couture lipsticks and gives lips a voluminous finish. In the Kiss & Love makeup palette ($129) this guest was trying out: Four eyeshadow colours, two lip colours and a coral blusher. The collection is now available at the YSL Beaute boutique (#B2-34 Ion Orchard). Like this? Singapore makeup artist Benedict Choo shares five tips to achieving glowing skin.
