Charmaine’s main obsession – the peanut butter and jelly sandwich ($8) – comes encrusted in cornflakes.

Another popular choice: the grilled cheese sandwich ($16), featuring a mix of cheddar and Emmental cheeses.

“If, like me, you grew up loving PB+J sandwiches, you will absolutely die for Park Bench Deli’s take on this any-time-of-the-day snack. Think a triple stack of toast smothered with thick, crunchy peanut butter, sticky jam and chocolate before being coated in cornflakes. This sandwich belongs in the PB+J hall of fame. It’s a #peanutbutterjellysandwichoncrack! Special mention also goes out to their refreshing Acai bowl, an ideal snack for those of you who aren’t in the mood for something so filling (or unhealthy!)”

The Penicillin cocktail ($23) is her tipple of choice.

“Another standout addition to the celebrity chef restaurant collection at Marina Bay Sands, what I really love about Adrift, besides their stand-out modern Asian cuisine, is their absolutely delectable array of cocktails and bar bites. My favourites are the Dark & Stormy and their signature Whisky cocktail dubbed Penicillin (if you like smoky, peaty whisky, you’ll love this!). The bar is large, plush and beautifully designed – a great place to relax and unwind after work.”

The finely plated charred lamb rump, black olive, baby artichokes and caper berry ($40) wins points for presentation.

“Located on the ground floor of the Tanglin Post Office, this place has fast become a favourite dining spot for my family. It’s hard to pick a favourite dish when everything that comes out of the kitchen is pretty much done to perfection. Head Chef Rishi Naleendra seems to have a knack for making the most simple of ingredients taste extraordinary. Even the humble baby corn is transformed into a gourmet snack when smoked and served plain with a creamy Parmesan dip.The freshly shucked NZ oysters we had were plump and juicy and served with a zesty Cucumber sorbet instead of the usual lemon juice and tabasco combo. If I was forced to choose, my favourite item on the menu would have to be his Ceviche of Argentinian Prawns in Kombu and Wasabi Buttermilk. P/S: Make sure you leave room for dessert!”
