Three words that describe your style

“Surprising, defiant, effortless.”

Style Icons

“Iris Apfel (below), Nancy Cunard, Tina Chow and Daisy Fellowes. They are all women with such vibrant personalities and trend-defying styles; always unique but never trying too hard. To me, style and personality go hand in hand.”

One wardrobe item you can wear with anything

“A pair of ballet flats. For formal occasions, I pair them with a balloon skirt for a dramatic yet effortless look. When I’m in the office, I throw them on with whatever I’m wearing for the day. On a night when I know I’m going to be doing some major dancing, they go perfectly with a crazy sequinned dress, adding a casual touch to the look.”

What you love about fashion

“I love how it connects people and creates stories. If someone is wearing something amazing, I would go up to them and tell them or ask where they got it from, and at that moment, an instant bond is formed. It’s something that brings people together, which is very unique in this day and age, when human interaction is dwindling.”
