Here’s a good reason to buy a bar of soap. According to L’Occitane, almost 285 million people in the world are visually impaired, even though 80 per cent of cases of blindness are avoidable. The brand hopes to reduce rates of visual impairment by channelling the profits from its limited edition Shea Apricot Solidarity Soap ($5.50) to fund eye-health projects in developing countries such as Burkina Faso.
