From May 13 -24, the 25th edition of the EUFF (European Union Film Festival, the largest yet) will feature 29 films from 29 countries representing the best of contemporary European cinema.
The 25th EUFF showcases Europe’s diverse contemporary creativity and multi-faceted cultural heritage. The EUFF also again continues its tradition of presenting the best local short films by emerging filmmakers through its partnership with Puttnam School of Film, LASALLE College of the Arts.

The opening film La French (original title) is about a French police magistrate who spends years trying to take down one of the country’s most powerful drug rings.
After he is threatened during a confession, a good-natured priest must battle the dark forces closing in around him.
Mr Hublot is a withdrawn, idiosyncratic character with OCD, scared of change and the outside world. Robot Pet’s arrival turns his life upside down: he has to share his home with this very invasive companion (short film).
This year’s Oscar winner for Best Foreign Film, Ida features sumptuous black and white cinematography with old-school composition, and is about Anna, a young novitiate nun in 1960s Poland. She’s on the verge of taking her vows when she discovers a dark family secret dating back to the years of the Nazi occupation.
