Brighten up your big day look with the prettiest hair colours in the most romantic styles.
If you’re looking to rock a whole new style for your big day, consider pastel hair – this hot trend has been making waves on the streets, but we’ve yet to really see brides wearing this look. And there’s really no reason why you shouldn’t: “Warmer hues, like lavender, peach, rose gold or dusty violet generally look great with Asian skin. Fair-skinned brides can go for any of these, while tan-skinned brides can try pink beige or peach,” says Chester Wong, founder of Hair Philosophy. “It’s best to colour hair one week before the wedding too. The regrowth is negligible and the hair colour also looks more natural or settled in after about 5 washes.”
Textures also show up better on light-coloured hair so you can consider braids, loose curls and tousled updos. If you aren’t too keen on dyeing your hair permanently, try hair chalk or temporary sprays.
