If the 19th-century castle looks familiar, that’s because it served as the inspiration for Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. Weddings aren’t allowed in the palace itself, which is located in the Bavarian alps, but couples can have their celebrations, as well as take their bridal portraits at several locations nearby with the view of the castle.

It’s home to nine Tibetan villages as well a popular photography spot for many Chinese couples, and with good reason. The crystal clear lakes, majestic waterfalls and mystical surroundings look like they came right out of a Chinese painting.

This pastel-hued tunnel is located in the Kawachi Fuji Gardens in Kitakyushu, Japan. The best time to visit is between late April to early May, where the wisteria blooms (20 different species, which accounts for the remarkable myriad of colours) are at their most beautiful.
