Andy Warhol’s book with unpublished pictures

On His Reading List “Bob Colacello’s Andy Warhol: Unexposed Exposures (2010), which is a compilation of black and white photo prints that Warhol originally selected for his 1979 book Exposures, but were later removed by his publishers. Colacello, who was also the executive editor of the original book, has such an insider’s view on America in the ’70s, making this such a fun read.”

A Cecily Brown abstract painting

Latest Investment “A painting by Cecily Brown, whose work I’ve always loved for its colour and textures. The particular painting I bought is a jewel because I think it truly encapsulates her work as a whole, so when I had the opportunity to buy it, I jumped on it.”

A Recent Art Buy “I was eyeing Sour Twist, a painting by American artist Ed Ruscha that I saw at the Gagosian Gallery (in New York), but it was sold when I was ready to purchase it. I (wound up) buying Kim Gordon’s Mulholland Series (Silver Wreath), which is such a great piece. Plus, Kim is so cool and eclectic that I had to have it.”
