Shu Uemura x Maison Kitsune
Shu Uemura is known for having the coolest collaborators – Karl Lagerfeld, Takashi Murakami and Tsumori Chisato, just to name a few. This year, the Japanese beauty brand has picked another winner by teaming up with French fashion label Maison Kitsune.
The limited-edition 23-piece collection ($20-$500) of makeup, beauty tools and skincare is one of the cutest designer-beauty collaborations we’ve seen. Decorated with adorable motifs to represent both Eastern and Western elements – a dress and a kimono, a beret and a straw hat, a coffee cup and a green tea set – as well as the fashion line’s signature fox print, it’s what everyone will want to get and gift this season.
Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani
Another collaboration we’re looking forward to is the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Shadow Palette, which is the first time the American brand has worked with a celebrity. The limited edition product has 15 eyeshadow shades – 12 of which are entirely new – that were handpicked by the pop star herself. A mixture of neutral and jewel tones, these colours were chosen to help fans recreate all of Gwen’s iconic looks. Bonus: It also comes with a sample of the upcoming Urban Decay x Gwen Lipsticks. The kit will be available come Dec 17 at all Sephora stores and Urban Decay stores in Bugis Junction (#01-16) and VivoCity (#01-13).
