hairstyleOne of the most talked about shows for the Spring Summer 2017 season was definitely Christian Dior. Not only was it Maria Grazia Chiuri’s debut for the French luxury house, it also featured the coolest ‘do that industry insiders just could not get enough of.

hairstyleCreated by hairstylist Guido Palau, it’s the classic topknot meets street punk chic. To achieve the look, hair was pulled into a sleek knot at the top of the head, with vertical plaits running from the base to the bun at the back. The juxtaposition of ballerina in the front and biker at the back is the perfect mix of feminine and tomboy, timeless but still contemporary.

hairstyleThe best thing about it: it works for any occasion. Whether you’re going for a coffee run or to a ball, it’s the perfect accessory that’s both whimsical yet done. We just can’t get enough of it.
