25-year-old model Lee Sung Kyung – aka Laneige’s brand ambassador – fronts this year’s environmental campaign for the Korean beauty brand. And while trumpeting the message of environmental conservation isn’t new for the brand, and this year’s Refill Me campaign focuses on making the world a cleaner place by cutting down on disposable waste.

The artwork on the bottle sleeves reflects the energy and vitality of water, while the bottles are made of BPA-free Tritan, a durable plastic that has more shatter resistance.

To do that, they’ve introduced three limited edition waterbottles – each bearing a water droplet motif and the campaign slogan – that you can buy for $8 with every Laneige purchase made (from now till June 30). $2 from the sales of each bottle will be donated to local NGO Waterways Watch Society to support their educational programmes at Punggol Waterways. Plus, the brand aims to donate up to $12,000 to the NGO from this campaign.

What’s also taking place now: the Laneige Beauty Road showcase at Ion Orchard’s Basement 4, on till Thursday May 19. Various interactive games have been set up in that expansive space, and you stand to win Laneige “coins” and redeem prizes with them. There’s a skin moisture-test, a Bubble Catcher machine, a UFO catcher (we actually won a selfie clip-on lens from that) and more engaging activities to try. Even if you don’t have a competitive streak, we still recommend heading down for the free makeup consultations and makeup demos on the latest K-beauty trends.
