If you have a dry or easily irritated complexion, beauty therapists will usually avoid recommending whitening products as they might have strong ingredients that might not be the best for more fragile skin. In recent years, however, advances in technology have allowed many beauty brands to create brightening skincare that is both gentle and moisturising.
One new range that does so is the su:m37 Water-full Radiant collection. However, this line is not just a whitening line that has hydrating benefits but has products that give equal importance to both. The products in the five-piece range all contain a trio of exclusive ingredients. The first is Aqua Ferm, a unique ingredient that is said to activate the moisture proteins found in cells to improve the moisture paths between skin layers and keeps your complexion hydrated throughout the day.
Aqua Light, which consists of precious truffle-derived yeast extract and Western medicinal herbs, helps to suppress melanin production to even out skin tone and fight pigmentation. To boost radiance, Poria Light – extracted from the wild herb Fu Ling – firms and plumps skin so it is better able to reflect light for an overall healthier, more luminuous complexion.
The star products in the Water-full Radiant are definitely the Hydrating Glow Serum($160) and Hydrating Glow Cream($178). The former glides smoothly onto skin to deliver intensive hydration and leaves the complexion smoother, clearer and more even; while the latter has strengthens skin’s protective barrier.
We are also loving the Hydrating glow Toner 9480), which leaves a cooling sensation and boosts clarity. The Hydrating Glow Emulsion wraps skin in a protective veil without any stickiness, while the Hydrating Mask ($135 for a set of 10) is a great intensive treatment for when you want an extra boost of whitening and moisturising benefits. The entire range will be available from March 2018.
