Travelling to Korea means coming back laden down with beauty products – especially those that you cannot find in Singapore. We’d be surprised if your haul didn’t doesn’t include luxury brand Hera, Korean’s top-performing beauty brand. But after hauling back boxes of their bestselling cushion foundations, you’ll now be able to spare some luggage room. Come mid-May, Hera will be launching in Singapore with their first counter at Takashimaya.
With Singaporeans embracing all things Korean, its little surprise that we’re the second country (after China) that Hera is expanding outside of Korea. Aside from the 165 square feet counter in Takashimaya, beauty junkies will be able to look forward to a flagship store that will be launching in the second half of this year.
The brand encompasses both skincare and makeup – shopping list must-haves are their UV Mist Cushion (one sold every two seconds in Korea), their Cell Essence and the Rouge Holic Exceptional lipsticks.
If you need any convincing about how these look on the skin, think back on Korean actress Gianna Jun Ji-hyun (who’s the face of the brand) in the hit series Legend of the Blue Sea, who used all three products. Till then, we’re rationing out our Hera cushion foundations until we can stock up in May.
