This couple gave their grand ballroom wedding a romantic charm with floral touches.
The wedding – the biggest party of our lives – was a warm and cosy celebration with our closest friends and family. We planned for it to be on the same day as our first date, and I loved the way my husband’s face lit up with a smile when I spoke about how we got together four years ago. The solemnisation was also an emotional experience. I teared up when my dad held my hand as he walked me down the aisle.
We had a sweet floral theme for the stage, photo card design and display. We also had a wedding hashtag, #stayzenandmarryyen, and our guests had a great time posting pictures on social media. The pictures were also printed on the spot and given to them during dinner. Before the second march-in, we had some times to ourselves to watch the video highlights of what happened earlier in the day. I was in his arms telling him how happy I was and how I wished the party could go on a little longer.
It was a truly magical and romantic moment, especially when he whispered, “enjoy the moment” just before the door opened for us to rejoin our guests.
I loved the pictures! Our photographer managed to capture the expressions of our parents during our speech and we are grateful to have these memories in print.
