This exhibition, which is co-curated by the editor-at-large of American Vogue Hamish Bowles and sponsored by Gucci, celebrates 500 years of fashion history at the home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The first UK exhibition on the renowned work and enduring legacy of Cristobal Balenciaga, this high-profile exhibition features more than 100 garments crafted by ‘the master of couture’. Less of an exhibition and more of a retail store takeover, this series of brand takeovers will see invited labels holding special showcases at the cult multi-label concept store. Balenciaga fans, rejoice, as the Spanish fashion house will kick-off the month-long takeover with brands like Thom Browne, Chanel and Saint Laurent to follow suit.
