Israeli artist Ron Arad’s exhibit, titled 720°, comprises a whopping 5,600 silicon cords, whose total length would run over 37 kilometres, organised into one enormous circle that’s 18 metres wide and 8 metres tall. The interactive installation comes to life through the silicon cords, which act as a video screen – albeit one that is constantly swaying – for the various digital multimedia projected upon it.

As part of the ongoing Singapore International Arts Festival (SIFA) 2016, this edition of 720° will feature a series of 11 performance films curated by filmmaker, video and performance artist Brian Gothong Tan.

Held at The Meadow @ Gardens by the Bay, the installation will be on every night from now till September 17. The late opening hours (7pm-11pm daily) mean even those coming from work will get there with plenty of time to spare. Free admission
