Phuture will be hosting a party hip-hop lovers are going to go crazy for, with a lineup featuring five local artists. First up will be Krstn, a relatively fresh face known for her signature style of hard-hitting base across house, classic hip-hop and future beats. Joining her will be Mean who will be bringing audiences through a spectrum of chill to high energy, as well as a performance by Ffion for electro-laced R&B tunes. Wrapping up the crew will be the club’s resident hip-hop DJ Lenerd and regular guest, Perk Pietrek to bring forth a full package of body rocking bangers. 3C River Valley Road, 9pm-4am. Dig club raves with spewing lasers whilst grooving to your favourite electronic beats with an alfresco setting? Then you’ll definitely want to check out the Garden Beats Festival. Dubbed as an electronic picnic festival, the fourth edition of one of the coolest music extravaganzas in town will be happening this weekend at Fort Canning Park. Besides the feelgood vibes and music, the festival also features pop-up food stalls and plenty of space for you to roll out your picnic mat. One of Germany’s most illustrious electronic music duos, Cosmic Gate is the alliance of DJ-producer veterans, Claus Terhoeven and Stefan Bossems. Formed in 1994, the duo has always stuck by their trance genre roots with over a thousand gigs throughout their career, and over a hundred each year. Possessing a slew of singles and remixes ranging from progressive, uplifting and ethereal, their sets are known for turning up dance floors. 3C River Valley Road, 9pm-4am. Hip-hop music fans, here’s another party to get excited about. Brought to you by the folks behind Solid Gold, this year’s edition of Soul Clap will be in conjunction with Singapore’s biggest hip-hop crew Radical Forze’s 20th anniversary. Prepare to get those dancing shoes on as it will be night of revelry with the raddest tunes from a stellar lineup (hint: DJ Ko Flow will be there too) and partying till dawn breaks. Canadian-born DJ A-Trak (Kanye West even dubbed him as ‘The World’s Greatest DJ’) will be helming the decks of Ce La Vi this month. From festival stages to sold-out concert venues, the multi-faceted DJ has also been credited for launching artists such as Kid Cudi, Danny Brown and Flosstradamus to fame. His own productions and remixes have received much props, including hits like Believe featuring Quavo and Lil Yachty and Push with Andrew Wyatt. 1 Bayfront Avenue, 10pm till late. Tickets are priced at $28 to $38
