Known to be one of the pioneers that started the cafe culture in Singapore, P.S Cafe (it’s been around for 17 years) has finally opened its largest outlet at One Fullerton and is set to become the go-to destination for a business lunch, brunch date or post-work cocktail meet-ups. Tucked away in the heart of Singapore’s bustling Central Business District (CBD) area, the new establishment will definitely appeal to the surrounding office crowd with its sprawling bar area, executive set menu and picturesque views of the waterfront.
The new, alluring space spans over 5,000 square feet and accommodates up to 160 patrons. Besides its bespoke furniture, statement floral displays and stylised interiors, the cafe also boasts a new, curated menu which is known for its sizeable portions. Here, we pick out the new dishes we are most excited about.
#1: Baked Greek Spinach Pie
Starting off with lighter options, this pie is made with ricotta and feta cheese, mint and house-made pesto. It is also served in bite-sized portions for easier consumption.
#2: Chargrilled Chunky Prawn Sandwich
Made with the house’s sourdough and grilled to perfection, this savoury dish is perfect for brunch. It also comes with spiced pickled mango, kaffir lime aioli and seasoned shoestring fries.
#3: Chargrilled Skate
Fans of fish: this char-grilled skate (a type of cartilaginous fish) dish will definitely appeal to you. It also comes served with green harissa and broccolini (a vegetable similar to broccoli but with smaller florets and longer, thin stalks).
#4: Moules Vin Blanc
Also known as Mussels with White Wine, this dish was made famous in Belgium and is served with crusty dipping bread.
#5: Mrs. J's Trifle Bomb
Topped with a generous amount of strawberries and chocolate shavings, this dessert will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.
#6: Creme Caramel Orange Cake
For something more citrusy, this orange cake will definitely tingle your taste buds. Caramel is added for extra sweetness.
