The alt-pop duo from London will be performing their first-ever show in Singapore come August. Gaining steady success since the release of their self-titled debut album in 2015, expect to hear old hits and new tunes as the singer-songwriter pair has also just released their second album, Ultralife. Riding on the success of their self-titled debut album that was released just in June, rising alternative act LANY will put on their first-ever show here after having toured Europe and the US last year. The LA-based, three-piece band is known for their electro-pop meets early-R&B tunes, such as viral hit ‘ILYSB’. *SCAPE The Ground Theatre, 2 Orchard Link, 8 – 10pm. $78 (standard) / $98 (doors) per ticket

The British indie band will be back in Singapore for a third time after their sold-out debut show in 2015 at The Coliseum, as well as a stint at the F1 Singapore Grand Prix last year. Rock on to previous hits such as ‘Pompeii’, as well as newer music from their wildly successful sophomore album, Wild World. The Star Theatre, 1 Vista Exchange Green, 8 – 10pm. $68 – $148 per ticket

This dance-rock band – that is arguably most famously known as Joe Jonas’ musical project – will put on their debut show in Singapore as they tour in support of their self-titled debut album released last year. DNCE rose to fame when their first-ever single, ‘Cake By The Ocean’, became an unexpected viral hit. Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre, 1 Raffles Blvd, 8 – 10pm. $128 – $278 per ticket

August is rounding up to be a busy month for music fans, as rock band All Time Low is also set to return to Singapore for the third time under their The Young Renegades Tour. Previously on our sunny shores for sold-out gigs in 2011 and 2013, the long-running band will be performing hits from their seventh studio album. It seems like Singaporeans can’t get enough of the popular British singer-songwriter, as tickets for his first show was sold out within an hour, while tickets for the additional second night was quickly snapped up too. If you’re one of the lucky ones who managed to get a ticket, expect hits such as ‘Shape Of You’ from his third studio album, Divide. Tickets for the One Direction alum’s debut show in Singapore was similarly sold out within a day, but not to worry – fans can still catch him next year on 3 May at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, as the British heartthrob has added 56 new show dates due to overwhelming worldwide demand for his first-ever solo tour. The young 18-year-old singer-songwriter is a true breakout star of the Internet generation, first garnering fame four years ago through video sharing application Vine. Now with two full-length albums under his belt, the Canadian will be performing in Singapore for the very first time in support of his sophomore effort, Illuminate.
