Are the days of the fashion peacock over? Judging from the Miu Miu F/W ’18 street style pack, the answer is a resounding no. The guests at the show, which capped off Paris Fashion Week, were the brightest and loudest dressers for any show in Paris — decked out in looks from the brand’s recent collections that included Hawaiian motifs to Beatnik-inspired styling. Then there were the fun bamboo and leather picnic basket bags from S/S ’18 which were spotted on the arms of a few guests. To paraphrase a saying, Paris saved the best of the street style crowd for last.
Flying the Harajuku cool flag high were Japanese DJ Mademoiselle Yulia (middle) and up-and-coming pop duo/fashion sensation/identical twins Ami and Aya Suzuki. The twins played up their signature shock of pink hair with technicolour coats, while Yulia channeled full fashion badassery with her leather boots and embellished military field jacket.
The fresh-faced Korean It girl and street style star Irene Kim looked super gamine in this schoolgirl-inspired get up.

Rigel Davis, the Shanghai-based Chinese-Welsh millennial fashion entrepreneur showed off her street sass in this mustard romper.
The pop of Cheetos orange on this getup adds an arresting accent to this layered look.
This woman schools us in the art of fun preppy dressing by adding Crayola shades on her outfit and accessories.
It’s a delight to see Australian fashion editor Christine Centenera ditch her usual uniform of black for something brighter. It may be khaki, but hey, it’s still progress.
No one quite wears the skirts-pumps-jacket combo quite like fashion editor Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert. Here, she is serving a fun ’60s-tinged look sans the retro vibe.
