For one thing, the first store in South-East Asia for Gucci’s childrenwear reportedly also stocks a range for teenagers alongside the childrenwear – and editor Noelle Loh, for one, is very excited (she’s petite alright).
Decor-wise, the store retains creative director Alessandro Michele’s signature eclecticism, with whimsical features such as horses’ legs as the table’s posts, lions’ heads as door knockers and a wonderful clash of colours and patterns that make for an immersive Alice-in-Wonderland-esque experience.
Eagle-eyed fans will also notice that many of the childrenwear is modeled after runway looks, such as the following below (runway looks from Fall 2016 and Resort 2017 respectively):
There will also be baby wear for those looking to kit out their offspring from the earliest get-go in Gucci. And I have to say, the ad campaign and apparel are really adorable – kinda makes you wish you were a kid too just to be able wear this stuff.
The Gucci children’s store is located at #B1-58, Marina Bay Sands.
