#1: Longchamp
To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year, Longchamp has teamed up with Tao Liang, aka Mr. Bags (one of China’s most influential fashion bloggers with three million followers on social media at press time). Mr. Bags reinterpreted the brand’s iconic foldable bag in a luxurious lamb leather, giving it a slightly more structured feel and also added a playful paw motif.
The medium-sized tote is available in black with the prints outlined in white, and in two more pretty shades – pastel pink and sky blue – with the prints in white fur. It also comes in a cute clutch style, which can be attached to the outside of the bag like a charm or carried separately. Its zipper and two handles make it perfect for taking out to lunch or dinner, with just enough space for your essentials such as keys, a cardholder and phone.
#2: Chanel
From the brand’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection in Paris, it’s safe to say Chanel is currently obsessed with plastic. Here, the quilted shopper and the 11.12 bag get an update and now comes in transparent PVC. Bonus: it’s waterproof.
The brand’s 11.12 bag will also come in a pastel iridescent sequined version with crystal plexiglass which we are obsessed with. Another bag we are seriously digging, the iconic Boy Chanel bag that comes in an iridescent PVC.
