Dig feminine, chic and ultra comfy sneakers? Then you should really mark your calendars for this coming April with Italian footwear giant Superga‘s latest Q2 collection. Yes, their previous pastel collection was a major hit with girly girls but the latest release has something for everyone and sees the brand gravitate towards bolder designs. The upcoming collection features three very distinct styles – reptile textures, pastel hues and metallic finishes all stamped on the brand’s iconic silhouettes.
Here’s something that’ll definitely resonate with the kid in us – velcro strap sneakers that were our go-to shoes. They feature a synthetic nuback effect snake printed upper with a metallic stripe along the sides. They also come in 3 different colourways – green, nude and beige khaki – for a more minimalist appeal. Priced at $109.90, these 90s classic will be available online and in all Superga stores in April.
Unlike the previous Velcro iteration, the brand’s best-selling style, the 2750, gets a modern update with metallic stripes, a more subdued rendition of the former. In three different colourways – White with Gold, White with Silver and Rose with Gold – each shoe comes in different coloured rivets that complement the shoe. Priced at $129.90, they will be available online and in all Superga stores in June.

The recently re-launched Panatta model which was a collaboration with Italian tennis legend, Adriano Panatta gets an old-school remake with three velcro straps wrapping around the forefoot. In either an all-white or all-black colourway, the sneakers feature a tonal leather swallow tail logo with the champion’s last name emblazoned on the tounge. Priced at $139.90, they will be available online and in stores in June.
