Ever since Uniqlo announced that it will launch a second instalment of its successful collaboration with JW Anderson on April 20, we were left thirsty for more details about how the pieces will look like to plan our shopping list.
Because if there is one lesson we’d learnt from the first tie-up in Sep 2017, it’d be that it pays to be an early bird and plan your shopping strategy so you won’t be left empty-handed.
Thankfully, the folks at Uniqlo just gave us a peek at the pieces which seem to draw heavily from the idea of summer wardrobe for Brighton Beach. Expect plenty of lightweight seersucker dresses and flared skirts, Breton stripes. There are also influences from workwear like ’50s-style denim jackets and tunic shirts inspired by traditional British police uniforms.
Before the collection launches at the brand’s global flagship at Orchard Central and www.uniqlo.com/sg, we have rounded up some of the items we predict will be selling fast so you know what pieces to make a beeline for. Consider this your first dibs.
