Besides beautiful beaches, luxury hotels and a glittering nightlife, it has some of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to, like Lo de Charlie (819, 12th Street), one of the city’s most elegant, and La Huella (Playa Brava, Jose Ignacio) a beach shack known for its fresh seafood. The best beach is La Posta del Cangrejo, a charming strip in the La Barra neighbourhood. I love taking my kids there for horseback riding, and also to golf and windsurf.”
