#1: Laneige Edge Drawing Eyeliner, $29
This nifty tool, which launches in stores come Nov 1, is equipped with two types of applicators: a “sharpie” tip that’s catered for those with single eyelids to help create thin, sleek lines, and one with a thicker pen tip so folks with double eyelids can draw thick, bold lines on more quickly. Plus, it’s also quick-drying.
#2: Moonshot Line Performer Liquid in #01, $32
Launched recently in Sephora stores here, Korean beauty brand Moonshot is known for its edgy makeup offerings. Their liquid eyeliner is your go-to for the perfect cat-eye flick. Use this when you want to give eyes a more graphic edge, just like how an Instagram-worthy bag can instantly elevate your look.
#3: Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner in Black Ivy, $41
In a greenish-black shade with just a hint of shimmer, this eyeliner – out in stores on Dec 1 – goes on thick and also comes with a sharpener on its end for more precise application. It’s reportedly humidity-resistant, too, which makes this a great choice for when you have to be outdoors for long periods of time. (Don’t forget to shield your face from harmful UV rays too, like what the latest crop of sunscreens will do for skin.)
#4: 3CE Super Slim Pen Eye Liner in Burgundy Brown, $18
Another Korean beauty brand that just launched in Sephora recently, 3CE‘s liquid eyeliner has a thin felt tip for easy application, and while it’s not waterproof, the formula claims to be long-lasting and flake-proof. Our shade of choice: The burgundy brown, to give eyes a more feminine and natural-looking appeal.
#5: Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof eyeliner in Pomme de Pin, $35
A dark brown shade from the French beauty brand’s Fall Winter ’15 collection, this is waterproof and comes in a creamy texture that glides onto eyelids effortlessly. We like to use this on the lower lashline as well: unlike liquid formulas, which may irritate eyes, this eye pencil makes it easy to apply and doesn’t budge one bit over the course of a few hours, too.
