Forget sprays, the luxury brand is introducing roll-on formats for three of its floral scents. La Panthere EDT has notes of gardenia, jasmine and rose; Baiser Vole EDP is a lily fragrance through and through, with the flower note in its top, middle and base notes; and Cartier Carat EDP has a brilliant bouquet of seven flowers including violet, hyacinth, narcissus and tulips. Not only is the roll-on formats great for travel and on-the-go touch-ups, the smaller size means you get to try out the fragrances without committing to an entire bottle.
This new-to-Sephora clean beauty brand is not here to play – as its name suggests. Naturally Serious hails from the US and is committed to taking a 360-degree approach to clean beauty, from its gluten- and vegan-friendly formulation to 100 per cent recyclable, reusable or compostable packaging. The range is formulated with a blend of superfoods – pomegranates, goji berries, grapeseed, and green, red and white teas.
Perfectly timed for the summer season, Chantecaille is introducing three limited-edition shades to its line-up as part of its latest collection. Mandevilla is a sweet watermelon pink, Pink Lotus is a warm rose and Frangipane is a vibrant coral. The formula is lightweight and smooth, enriched with certified organic baobab oil, wild mango butter and argan oil to keep lips nourished, smooth and hydrated. Plus, five per cent of the proceeds goes to Elephant Family, a conservation organisation that helps save the Asian elephant population.
This new addition to the popular Backstage line is part skincare, part makeup. The primer has a plant-based glycerine and shea butter complex to hydrate and plump up skin, while mattifying powders blur imperfections such as enlarged pores and help your makeup stay matte the entire day. It also has colour powders with reflective pigments to even out skin tone and impart a natural radiance to the skin.
If splurging on a pair of Louboutin heels is not quite up your alley, you’ll want to get your hands on one of the brand’s lipsticks. That it comes in one of the edgiest and most opulent packagings we’ve seen in a while is no surprise. Our pick is the Velvet Matte Lip Colour because who doesn’t love a good and comfortable matte lipstick? It comes in 18 shades, but we say go for the brand’s signature red shade, Rouge Louboutin, of course.
The latest addition to the brand’s Cleanser collection is an anti-pollution cleansing water that helps remove even the most long-wearing and waterproof makeup. Made of 96 per cent natural-origin ingredients, this has a prebiotic ingredient that helps balance skin’s natural ecosystem and strengthen skin barrier functions. Blue microalgae and a marine extract help protect skin cells against pollution and keep skin hydrated and moisturised. The formula is also ophthalmologist- and dermatologist-tested, so you can use it on every part of your face, including your eyes, even if you have sensitive skin.
Following on the heels of its cushion foundation and concealer launch, La Prairie is expanding its skincare foundation range with two new additions. The Powder Foundation has a creamy base that sets to a fresh, soft-matte finish. It also offers buildable, blendable coverage, while the brand’s Exclusive Cellular Complex imparts skincare benefits.
The Loose Powder, also formulated with this complex, brightens complexions and sets makeup for an all-day natural, shine-free finish. If you want to indulge yourself, you can also get the three brushes – one for liquid foundation, one for powder foundation and a third for loose powder, at $200 each – that are specially launched together with these two products.
This easy-to-apply, smudge-proof liquid eyeshadow is a reformulation that adds nine new shades to the original version. It also has a new chrome finish and applicator that lets you use the product as an eyeshadow, eyeliner and highlighter. Formulated with superfine pearl pigments, this delivers intense colour payoff and blends easily into a comfortable finish that feels weightless on skin.
