Astalift Has Finally Launched Its First Ever Makeup Collection

Known for its robust range of skincare products, Japanese beauty brand Astalift has just released its first-ever makeup collection called Flarosso, which was co-developed with an Italian makeup team and inspired by the rich blush shades of flamingos.

Just like its skincare products, its newest makeup line was developed with Fujifilm’s photo-processing expertise and technologies to help enhance your features for that Insta-worthy selfie. The collection comprises five different products, two of which are makeup brushes. The products feature two key technologies known as the Overlay Effect and Edge Effect. The former is used to improve the saturation of colours by interlaying yellow, magenta and cyan colours. The latter, on the other hand, is inspired by one of Fujifilm’s most famous photographic films to give intense colour payoff by regulating the colour inhibitors along the boundaries of both vivid and soft hues.

Here, all the products you need to get, stat.

#1: Astalift Flarosso Intenso Eyeshadow, $65
There are five different eyeshadow palettes to choose from and each features four pretty pearlescent shades. Perfect for travelling, these give intense colour payoff and blend easily onto your eyelids. #2: Astalift Flarosso Tirabaci Lipstick, $46
From pretty pinks, everyday nudes to a sexy red, these creamy lipsticks are made with a high percentage of emollients to deliver a multi-dimensional satin effect and ensure optimum hydration throughout the day. #3: Astalift Flarosso Luci Highlighter, $55
The powders in this pinky highlighter have an ultra-fine texture that applies easily and stays on throughout the day. It also brightens skin by controlling the light reflection while adding luster and radiance to any complexion. #4: Astalift Flarosso Luci Blush, $55
Available in five shades, this has got to be one of our favourite blushers. It gives great, buildable colour payoff with a translucent and luminous finish without any powdery residue. #5: Astalift Flarosso Kumanofude Powder and Blush Brush, $77 and $51 respectively
Made exclusively in Japan, these brushes are manufactured in the Hiroshima Prefecture. 80 per cent of professional cosmetic brushes are reportedly made there and only brushes manufactured by expert brush craftsmen are allowed to use the Kumanofude logo.
