When it comes to hair salons, it’s pretty straightforward: you go there, get a haircut and/or treatment, pay, and then leave. So of course (besides a darn good interior), there really is nothing else to expect.
However, with Chez Vous‘ new concept hair salon Hideaway, you might want to rethink this. Its new 1,800 square foot space located on level 14 of Ngee Ann City Tower B boasts conceptualised interiors for customers to have an immersive experience.
Once you enter through the neon-lit doors, you will be greeted by a Hogwarts-inspired library of sorts. Thereafter, push through a life-sized framed painting, and a luxurious Re:Charge relaxation den — complete with state-of-the-art leather massage chairs with red light scalp therapy and an oxygen bar — awaits.
They’ve even got an urban-minimalist loft where you are able to get treatments and a haircut done there by one of the salon’s stylists. After which, enter the Wash Cave which has digital ‘aquatic art’ projected onto the walls for that perfect ‘gram shot. Then, the Rose Quartz Private Room is next — a pale pink coloured space for ultimate privacy if you need any quick makeup touch-ups. Lastly, walk through the turquoise-coloured exit lane, filled with amusing illustrations perfect for a selfie backdrop.
If that’s not impressive enough, the salon also promises an exciting line-up of complimentary spa-like treatments to indulge in. At the lounge, guests will be greeted with a menu of signature herbal teas and spa snacks. You will also be able to enjoy a scalp rejuvenation red light laser therapy and a revitalising oxygen boost at the O2 Bar while relaxing into the full body massage chairs.
Each experience will also be accompanied by a bespoke Aromatherapy Journey, where your selected essential oil blend will accompany you through each step of your hair service, from the shampoo to the shoulder massage.
Other complimentary add-ons include treatments such as plasma-powered scalp rejuvenation, S-ion scalp detoxification and Swedish scalp massage to the ring of a Tibetan Singing Bowl. Bonus: there is even a shoulder massage accompanied by a heated shoulder pad for complete relaxation. Not your average salon, indeed.
