For one, the Japanese label hardly does any tie-ups.Secondly, its creative partner of choice is the Blake Lively-acquainted, Internet sensation of a pop artist Ashley Longshore, whose quirky, colourful works are the antithesis of the brand’s classically luxurious approach.
And lastly, while most holiday limited edition launches are updates of existing products, this features new, exclusive shades and the brand’s first lip gloss. Now, all you need to know is how to pronounce its name: say “lay-za-nay fol” – a reference to Europe’s Golden ’20s, which inspired the packaging.
