Spotting a refreshed and improved formula mid-August this year was Dior’s Forever Couture Perfect Cushion. Housed in a couture black leather case with the brand’s iconic Cannage motif and silver monogram CD logo embellishing it, the cushion holds a foundation that’s of a matte luminous finish. And that’s a finish that hits the sweet spot between a matte, blurred-out look and a radiant one.
Also said to be as much of a skincare product as it is a long-wearing foundation, the cushion reportedly promises 24 hour-long hydration thanks to its wild pansy extract that combines a moisturising agent to moisturise the skin inside and out. Simultaneously, rose extract in it helps to fight external stressors and make enlarged pores look refined.
Come January 2020, said cushion will be receiving a makeover that will excite both beauty and fashion followers alike in this new Diormania iteration. The refillable cushion foundation’s case will be dressed in a print that the brand’s fashion offerings are no stranger to. We’re talking about the emblematic Dior oblique print in navy – the one that adorns the likes of Dior’s Book Totes and Saddle Bags.
P.S. We’ve also heard that there’ll only be 1,000 pieces available locally, so fastest fingers win. Going at $98 a pop, click through the gallery above for the shade intensities that’ll be on the shelves.
