The Treatment

This 90-minute facial starts off with a detailed consultation, after which my therapist then cleanses my skin before applying the Intensa Soft Peeling to remove dull, flaky skin cells. She then tones my complexion using the BioClassica Pure Balance Fluid, which is formulated with sebum-balancing and clarifying active ingredients suitable for combination skin. A facial steamer is placed over my face for 15 minutes, followed by a mildly painful extraction. I am then treated to the Dr.Belter Silk Scarf Ritual, a procedure where the therapist uses a silk scarf to gently massage your decollete and face. She then gently massages my face using an ampoule, which contains hyaluronic acid and vitamins C and E, and the Aquasilk Hydroboost Mask to boost my skin’s hyaluronic acid production and protects it from cellular stress and free radicals. She then uses the Aventurine Gemstone massage wands and applies an acupressure method to massage my decollete and face. After 15 minutes, a mask formulated with active charcoal and detox complex to hydrate and absorb toxins from my skin’s surface. The mask is removed after 15 minutes, after which my therapist applies skincare to my face.

The Verdict

My skin felt firmer, plumper and appeared more radiant. The massages were also very relaxing and I love how my therapist always applied products on both my decollete and face.  My skin felt smooth and soft post-treatment and my complexion never looked better. $238, Annabelle Skin (#02-42 The Adelphi), tel: 6336-8975
