Fann Wong is the new face of Shiseido’s Ultimune range

One skincare habit she does religiously

“When I was young, my mother told me to wash my face 20 times. Till today, I’ll still count down diligently (while washing my face) till it becomes squeaky clean. It’s just like brushing my teeth – no matter how tired I am, I’ll still do it.”

Her daily beauty routine

“After washing my face thoroughly, I’ll use a softener and Shiseido’s Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate (to smoothen skin and reduce visible signs of ageing). Next, I’ll gently massage my face, then apply serum and moisturiser.”

The Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate ($105) promises to revive the skin’s natural defence against ultraviolet rays, air pollution, stress and ageing.

Why she’s a fan of Shiseido’s Ultimune products

“Good skin starts from within. When your skin is in good condition, only then can you prep it to absorb the following skincare products better. Using them makes my complexion appear plumper and (I look more) well-maintained. Also, my skin tends to get easily irritated when I go overseas or apply new products, but Shideido’s Ultimune range (doesn’t cause that reaction).”

The Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Eye Concentrate ($98) reportedly will strengthen the skin immunity around your eyes.

What to consume for good skin

“Water is very important. I’ve invested in a good filter water at home just so I can drink more water. I take a lot of supplements and all kinds of fruits. I love berries: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries are my favourites.”

On dealing with age & changes in skin

“Now that I am a mother, I have little time to take care of my skin and have had to change all my skincare routines. In the past, I’d go for a spa once a week, but now everything has to be simplified. But that’s not a bad thing, as long as I see results. I see growing old as a romantic and beautiful idea – there’s something to enjoy at every season of your life.”
