#1: Emporio Armani
In the words of Linda Cantello, Emporio Armani’s makeup artist, the season’s look is termed “a new smoky”. The focus is all on the eyes, where Cantello used a mixture of dramatic metallic blacks and greens to create a slightly mermaid/aqua-inspired look. Open up the eyes by dabbing some silver eyeshadow on the inner corners as well. Complete the look by framing your eyes with bold brows and a neutral face so that all the focus is on your peepers.

#2: Dolce & Gabbana
To complement the collection’s rich motifs and patterns, models donned retro-inspired makeup looks. Start with the classic winged eyeliner, which is best achieved using liquid eyeliner – if you need some help with mastering the art of the liquid eyeliner, check out this post here. Apply a dab of shimmery eyeshadow to your eyelids, and finish off with a bold matte lip in whichever shades of pink or red you prefer for the perfect pout.

#3: Fendi
Over at Fendi, things returned to basics and reminded us that sometimes, simplicity is best. This is a great – and very easy – look to replicate, especially if you want to illuminate and wake up a tired face. Just apply a small amount of silver eyeshadow or highlighter along the tear ducts, and keep the rest of the face as natural as possible – check out our guide to the no-makeup makeup look.

#4: Max Mara
The timeless black smoky eye will never go out of style, and Max Mara’s version is the one to copy come next season. What’s different here is the crisp and sharp edge of the eyeshadow which imbues the look with a more polished vibe. Accomplish this by cleaning and shaping your eyeshadow with a cotton bud after finishing your eye makeup, but before foundation. Remember to amp up the drama with a few good swipes of mascara.

#5: Missoni
For a healthy-looking glow perfect for daytime, take inspiration from Missoni’s warm makeup look. The emphasis is on the blush – don’t be afraid to lay it on thick for an exaggerated flush. Take it up a notch with some drawn-on freckles, using either a light brown eyeliner pencil or eyebrow pencil. Top off the look with a swipe of lip gloss, and keep the casual-cool, summer on the beach vibe going with untamed, messy waves.

#7: Prada
We’re all ready to party in Prada’s crystal-encrusted look. Makeup artist Pat McGrath used her own Mthrshp Subversive: La Vie En Rose palette to create this look, by first defining the lash line with a mix of the Purple Reign and Rose Risqué shades, and blending them out into a wing. Next, she added the Rose Risqué shade to the inner corners of the lower lash lines for a brightening effect. Lastly, she applied a bit of mascara and attached a few Swarovski crystals to the eyeshadow.
