Any makeup junkie would have at least heard about the popular American beauty guru and Youtuber, Jeffree Star. He first launched his eponymous makeup label back in 2014, and started up his Youtube channel (which has a following of 12 million subscribers at press time) to showcase his newest launches and tutorials on how to recreate various looks using his products.
The first product Star launched was the Velour Liquid Lipstick, which has now become a cult product from the brand and finally made available on our shores at multi-label beauty boutique Escentials. While his entire range might not be sold here just yet, there are over 30 different shades of the iconic liquid lipstick to choose from.
Besides its extensive shade range, the formula of the product is one to note. It is said to be vegan, cruelty-free, lightweight and dries down quickly into a matte finish that is smudge and budge-proof. What else we love: its fun, quirky shade names like Thirst Trap, Dominatrix and No Tea, No Shade.
