In 1924, Gabrielle Chanel turned an intense vermillion red into her first lipstick, which then became one of the most iconic colours for the French fashion and beauty house. Paying homage to that, an exclusive beauty pop-up space known as Le Rouge Chanel has been set up dedicated to exploring red in a variety of different textures and forms (from a collector’s edition of the iconic N°5 fragrance to makeup collections) while unveiling the creative process of each product.

Situated at 72-13 Mohamed Sultan Road, the pop-up will run from 17 to 21 October and will feature three different segments known as the Red Factory, Red Corridor and Red Bar.
The first portion will feature large industrial tanks loaded with an array of lipsticks while nail polishes are contained in an acrylic red cage. There will also be machine suspended above that comes with a variety of the brand’s signature N°5 parfum bottles. Makeup stations pepper the entire space to allow guests to experiment and play around with the textures and products. What to expect: six shades of the new Rouge Allure Velvet Extreme and Rouge Allure Liquid Powder.
Celebrating the limited red edition of the N°5, the Red Corridor immerses guests to feel as though they are in the bottle itself. Beyond the Red Corridor, a covert lounge known as the Red Bar is an intimate and relaxing space for guests to unwind and sip on specially concocted red cocktails.
