This M.A.C. Makeup Collaboration Is All About Old Hollywood Glamour

American beauty brand M.A.C Cosmetics has had a string of successful tie-ups with fashion designers like Zac Posen and Guo Pei. The latest to join forces with them: British footwear designer Charlotte Olympia, whose quirky designs, like its signature kitty-eared flats, are often spotted in the streetstyle circuit.

According to the brand, the makeup in this collaboration – now available at all M.A.C. cosmetics stores – is inspired by “pin-ups, silver screen sirens and the bygone era of old Hollywood glamour”. Cue deep reds and lush plum colours that we imagine Marilyn Monroe or Brigitte Bardot can pull off effortlessly, along with sleek gold and white packaging. Get a peek at the shades available in our gallery below.
