Besides new launches, we are always excited to know about new beauty stores in Singapore. From pop-up boutiques to new spaces, here are five you have to check out ASAP.
The first flagship boutique outside of Japan, the new Decorte space is inspired by its flagship store located at Ginza Six Shopping Complex in Tokyo. The boutique consists of a luxurious retail space and two relaxing treatment rooms that feature the same eye-catching design created by Marcel Wanders, who has also been the art director for the AQMW range since 2010.
While this might not be an entirely new space, there is a new range of treatments from one of our very own revered haircare brands. DrHair’s propriety treatments will now be made available at the Shunji Matsuo Hair Salon at Ngee Ann City. Founded by Dr. Georgia Lee under A DrBrand, the salon now offers a line of specially curated award-winning scalp solutions and treatments that target overall scalp health, anti-hair loss and anti-aging concerns, which utilises curated peptides trichology and proprietary formulations for effective results. To celebrate the collaboration, the brand will launch its Total Regenerative Scalp System, a four-step proprietary treatment that is customised to address scalp and hair problems such as oily or sensitive scalp, dandruff, thinning hair, scalp acne and greying of hair.
The Swiss luxury skincare brand recently revealed its first reimagined concept store in Southeast Asia. The 43 square metre space was inspired by the authentic and sophisticated elegance of Swiss contemporary architecture. The pristine and refined layout of the store echoes elegance and timeless beauty, which the brand represents. Besides the new counter, the luxurious facial cabin, which is exclusive to Takashimaya, is one to note. It features a neutral colour palette, creating an inviting and cosy space for customers to indulge in the brands’ treatments. Made in Italy, the soft facial bed is fully lined with genuine leather and has an electrical manoeuvre system that allows it to be adjusted for maximum comfort.
The Korean beauty brand might have just debuted on our shores in May but it has already opened its first ever boutique at Ion Orchard (and in Southeast Asia). The 463 square feet space will carry the full range of makeup and skincare products, as well as its exclusive fragrance range. Peppered with futuristic elements inspired by British sculptor Anish Kapoor’s creations, the new store will also feature an interactive lip and cushion bar, which are two of the brand’s most popular products. Two luxurious and cosy makeup counters will also be available for product exploration and makeovers.
North-siders, here’s a piece of exciting news for you: one of our favourite beauty multi-label stores will finally be revealing its 11th boutique at Causeway Point, slated to open on the 21st of September. This will be the brand’s first venture into the north side of Singapore, bringing with it a slew of new brands and products all beauty junkies will want to get their hands on.
French beauty brand Clarins has recently unveiled its second boutique in Singapore, at Westgate. The new boutique also features an exclusive Open Spa concept that comes with a series of 30-minute treatments, which is a first for the brand — meant to cater to time-strapped women. What to expect: a personalised consultation and treatment said to give immediate results.
Fans of Armani Beauty can now shop their favourite products right here in Singapore at its new boutique located in the heart of town. The new space features a black and red colour theme(inspired by the brand’s popular lipstick shade in #400) and a whole host of products from makeup to skincare and, even fragrances. Our picks: the Power Fabric Foundation and Lip Magnet.
