Boscia masks

This is not a boast: I’m hard-working when it comes to taking care of my skin. On top of an eight-step routine, I apply a mask every day, switching between types depending on what I think my skin needs (extra hydration, detox, whitening or a deep cleanse). I find cream and mud masks most effective, but recently discovered two sheet masks (read: no need to wash off) by Boscia that have been a boon on lazy days.
There’s the Charcoal Pore-minimizing Hydrogel Mask, which is meant to tighten pores and refine skin texture. The other is the Green Tea Mattifying Hydrogel Mask (both $12 each), which soothes and helps prevent breakouts. All I do is leave them on for 20 minutes post-toner, then finish with moisturiser. The results have always been immediate: My skin feels cleaner and looks clearer. You have my word.

Chanel S/S ’15 couture

If you’ve been following this column, you ought to know by now that I. Heart. Chanel. And what I love most from the brand’s S/S ’15 couture show isn’t a bag or dress, but the camellia worn at the end of the models’ braids that just makes the whole garden-maiden look even prettier. Guess I’ll never run out of reasons to stock up on camellias.

The Body Shop Green Tea Bath Tea & Bath Infuser

I’m a big fan of Japanese green tea not only because it’s an antioxidant and great for skin, but also because its leafy, slightly woody scent soothes and calms me instantly. That’s why I’m nuts about The Body Shop’s Fuji Green Tea Bath Tea ($39.90) and Bath Infuser ($13.90). The bath salts are infused with green tea leaves, and help cleanse and hydrate skin. And the infuser is like the kind you use to brew tea – just extra large, so I can sit in my bathtub and imagine I’m in a giant cup of matcha. Bliss.
