The C-word that should be spoken about more? This month, we’re talking all about it. Fact: breast cancer is the second most common cancer in the world, with one woman diagnosed every 15 seconds, according to the global cancer observatory set up by the world health organisation. To help fight the disease, American beauty conglomerate Estee Lauder has been raising awareness and generating donations through its breast cancer campaign – its largest philanthropic initiative, distinguished by its pink ribbon motif – since 1992.
This month, you can be a part of it: include the hashtags #timetoendbreastcancer and #unitedinhopesg in any Instagram post and the company will donate $5 to the Singapore General Hospital’s breast cancer research team. In addition – from now till December 31 – special editions of some of its bestselling products are up for grabs with a part of proceeds going to the breast cancer foundation (BCF). Now, this is a social cause to get behind. Below, all the products you can indulge in while doing just that.
Coming in a limited edition all-pink bottle adorned with a Pink Ribbon charm, this signature serum is said to maximise skin’s natural repair abilities while one snoozes at night, thanks to Estee Lauder’s trademark ChronoluxCB Technology. With antioxidants and hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture, it’s formulated to leave one with smoother, more radiant and resilient, and younger-looking skin in the morning.
Amount going to the BCF per bottle: $20
The makeup-forward brand swaps its usual black-and-gold tubes of two of its creamy, matte finish Lip Color shades – Pink and the more neutral-toned Tulle – for playful yet sophisticated-looking pink and gold cases.

Touted as the brand’s most concentrated hydrator, this harnesses the power of over 73 sea minerals to rejuvenate and hydrate skin. La Mer’s proprietary Miracle Broth – formulated with nutrients and minerals like hand-harvested sea kelp – helps restore the skin to its healthiest condition. To top it off, this bottle of liquid energy is fast-absorbing; meaning that it doesn’t leave an unpleasant, sticky feel after application. Look out for the Pink Ribbon motif printed on the bottle.
Amount going to the BCF per bottle: $38.75
A small pump of this easily absorbed, yellow-hued lotion is said to strengthen skin’s moisture barrier, helping it to stay hydrated for a youthful, dewy glow. The special Breast Cancer Campaign edition is distinguished by a key ring adorned with two charms – one in the form of Clinique’s “C” logo and the other, the Pink Ribbon.
Amount going to the BCF per bottle: $15
