breast cancer

The C-word that should be spoken about more? This month, we’re talking all about it. Fact: breast cancer is the second most common cancer in the world, with one woman diagnosed every 15 seconds, according to the global cancer observatory set up by the world health organisation. To help fight the disease, American beauty conglomerate Estee Lauder has been raising awareness and generating donations through its breast cancer campaign – its largest philanthropic initiative, distinguished by its pink ribbon motif – since 1992.

This month, you can be a part of it: include the hashtags #timetoendbreastcancer and #unitedinhopesg in any Instagram post and the company will donate $5 to the Singapore General Hospital’s breast cancer research team. In addition – from now till December 31 – special editions of some of its bestselling products are up for grabs with a part of proceeds going to the breast cancer foundation (BCF). Now, this is a social cause to get behind. Below, all the products you can indulge in while doing just that.
