Kylie Jenner has always been known for changing up her hair colour ever so often and while most of the time she replaces her coloured locks with wigs, her recent beauty switch-up saw the young mom dye her hair a pastel pink. Earlier this year, her half-sister Kim Kardashian, too, took the plunge with a similar ashy pink shade.
And of course, it’s no surprise that whatever the Kardashian-Jenner clan does becomes an instant hit — though it’s not just them who have been championing pink coloured tresses.
On the recent Spring/Summer 2019 runways, the girls at Marc Jacobs and Nico Panda were spotted rocking pink coloured hair in different styles. The former took a more modern and chic approach with the models’ hair neatly done up and in a dreamy pastel pink. The latter, on the other hand, opted for a more grunge, daring and ’90s appeal with super straight neon pink locks.
If you’re on the fence, hairstylist Junz Loke of Hairloom Salon advices that pink hair does suit Asian skin tones and is even easier to maintain compared to ashier hues. He also shares that cool pastel pinks complement fairer skin tones so you don’t have to worry if about taking the leap.
