One of our favourite beauty multi-label stores is bringing in a whole slew of new products for the Spring/Summer season, and these are the hair care and styling buys we can’t wait to get our hands on.

Christophe Robin Cleansing Volumizing Paste with Pure Rassoul Clay and Rose Extracts, price unavailable

To be used once a week for a deeper cleanse and boost volume, this will leave you with a fuller, more luscious mane. To use, take about a tablespoon worth of and rub it into your palms, then apply it all over your hair. Massage the product in circular motions until you feel the paste turn to foam, making sure you lift your roots as you do so. Add a little water to emulsify and then rinse thoroughly after two minutes.

Ouai Memory Mist, $42

For use before styling, this multi-tasking priming spray adds heat protection and long-lasting memory to everything from waves to blowout. The lightweight spray memorises your hair’s shape and texture until your next wash and doesn’t use parabens or animal testing. It is made with Prickly Pear extract to nourish hair and tame frizz, and has a floral scent with notes of violet, gardenia and ylang ylang. To protect against heat, apply the spray evenly onto damp hair before you blow dry. Or you can lightly mist dry hair prior to styling to keep the shape.

Aquis Lisse Luxe Hair Towel in Desert Rose, $46

This is definitely not your average towel. Engineered to address the fact that hair is most vulnerable when wet, this is made to dry hair quickly, evenly and without heat, priming it for styling in one simple step. It has a unique AQUITEX technology that consists of ultra-fine fibers that are smoother than silk, woven to create channels that quickly wick water away five times faster than cotton towels without snagging cuticles or causing friction. When used properly, it creates zero friction, minimising frizz and damage, while improving manageability and styling. Best of all, this multi-tasking beauty essential shortens and simplifies the average daily routine, cutting drying time by about 50 per cent.

Rita Hazan Triple Threat Split End Remedy, $45

Split ends are something every women faces, which is why we love this clinical anti-breakage repairing complex that formulated for damaged hair. It targets breakage, repairing it instantly, while preventing future breakage and damage. The hair serum has “Smart Polymers” to target breakage to seal damaged ends, oligopeptides to repair and smooth strands, and rice proteins to preserve hair colour.

Botanist Botanical Hair Water, $22

This water-based, leave-in hair treatment helps to manage bed head in the morning and prevents dryness throughout the day. This has apple fruit water, Rosa Damascena Flower Water and orange flower water to hydrate hair, as well as plant extracts to repair damage and treats hair discoloration, giving strands a smooth and silky texture. Another thing we love about it is its peach and apple scent that lasts all day long, protecting your hair from external odors. You can spritz the water before blow-drying or setting your hair, or anytime your hair feels dry and in need of hydration.
