Iconic makeup artist and entrepreneur Francois Nars and visionary fashion photographer Steven Klein have teamed up with design legend Fabien Baron to create a makeup collection all about exquisite fantasies played to the extremes. Arresting and provocative, the line pushes boundaries while still retaining the wearability of a Nars makeup item.
“It is super exciting for me to collaborate (with the brand) using my photographs and joining them with (Nars’) cosmetic genius,” says Klein, who is known for his hyperreal and sexually charged images. “I’ve always had the highest regard for Francois’ work. He is the pioneer of moving from one of the greatest makeup artists to creating great makeup.”
