“Our relationship was forged through years of friendship and shared experiences. It was important to us that the day’s events incorporated aspects of who we were as individuals and what defined us as a couple. The entire celebration evoked the opulence of a bygone era: My dress had a magnificent train, Andre wore a classic white tuxedo and we were ferried around in a Rolls Royce.
At night, we had a band that consisted of good friends and family members singing throughout the party.” Andre adds: “There were many memorable moments. Like when my bride said I do after I knelt in front of her family and friends, and vowed to be faithful and loving. And when we had our first dance to a song her brother sang.”
