Evangeline Ho and Ng Cheng Xun celebrated their union with a lush enchanted garden picnic theme that was inspired by a picnic dinner at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. She tells us:

“The wedding was a long-awaited union after 11 years of dating! We experienced the best and worst of each other at various stages of this very long journey together. The wedding was especially emotionally charged as we looked back on how we had grown as individuals and as a couple to finally taking the plunge and venturing into the next phase of our lives.

Our enchanted garden picnic theme was inspired by the scene of Cheng Xun’s proposal (during a candlelit picnic dinner at the Singapore Botanic Gardens). It included a backdrop of white flowers on the stage that changed colour according to the lighting. The solemnisation ceremony, when we exchanged vows we wrote ourselves, was actually the most romantic event of the day.

For Cheng Xun, another touching moment was when he first saw me in my wedding gown, as we had not seen each other for days before that. And we absolutely loved the actual-photographs – so many candid and emotional moments.”
