Amoy Street is home to restaurants Bochinche (left) and Ding Dong (right).
Two of the participating restaurants: BoCHINChe (left), which offers delightfully creative Argentine plates, and Ding Dong (right), known for its eclectic takes on Asian food.

Organised by Spa Esprit Group (the folks behind dining establishments like BoCHINChe and Ding Dong), the one-day-only Amoy St Bloc Party celebrates the unique mix of award-winning F&B outlets in the area in the best way possible – by offering up their signature dishes and cocktails for the day.

With a wide-ranging variety spanning Southeast-Asian cuisine to Argentine and French-Italian tapas, expect your tastebuds to be gratified in the most pleasurable ways, courtesy of popular eating spots like Burger Joint, top-notch bars like New York transplant Employees Only and new cafe Birds Of A Feather (it offers Sichaun-influenced Western dishes).

Besides food, there’ll be a big stage set up outdoors which will host live music and DJ sets throughout the day from the likes of local DJ KFC and headline act, UK artiste DJ Roscius. And just like any good street party worth its salt, Ding Dong will host a retro-themed after-party spinning ’80s and ’90s hits from 10pm to midnight.

Other free activities for the day include interactive arcade games, joining a workout class or learning how to grow your own edible garden – so come prepared to have a good time. Amoy St. Bloc Party, New Kids On The Bloc takes place on Nov 20, 3pm-10pm at Amoy Street
