She’s a streetstyle star that’s frequently lensed during Fashion Weeks; has 1.4 million followers on Instagram; is a member of Net-A-Porter’s Style Council; and recently collaborated with American beauty brand Kiehl’s for the launch of their Daily Reviving Concentrate. We jumped at the chance to score an exclusive interview with the vivacious Australian fashion blogger to find out how she keeps her skin flawless and how she looks impeccably put-together all the time:

Wardrobe staples for day and night
“I like to keep my look classic with a modern edge. For my go-to off duty look, I can’t go past a great pair of black skinny jeans and a tailored coat. I love Victoria Beckham for denim jeans and Altuzarra for coats. My Carolina Herrera over the knee boots are incredibly versatile and can be styled with nearly everything. For a more sophisticated evening look, I usually opt for a pencil skirt or dress in a statement colour or print. Australian designers Dion Lee and Michael Lo Sordo do beautiful skirts and dresses each season, in unexpected shapes and colours. A classic bag is an essential in every woman’s wardrobe, and my Chanel bag is timeless and goes with everything.”

A fashion designer she recently discovered
“Vika Gazinskaya is a Russian designer that I follow closely. Her aesthetic is playful but tailored and modern.”

The Instagram accounts she stalks “@nasa and @earthpix – I love how informative and inspiring these accounts are about our world.”

Day 1 of filming in Tokyo 🌿

A post shared by Nicole Warne Shadbolt (@nicolewarne) on

Most inspiring city
“Tokyo has always felt like a second home. I feel I am the most connected to nature, the human race, and myself. I always feel so inspired learning from the Japanese – they’re incredibly selfless, calm and take pride in process and tradition. New York is a close second, because the pace (of life there) is invigorating.”

Personal beauty routine
“No two days are ever the same, so I try to keep my skincare routine consistent. I was introduced to an incredible skin expert, Melanie Grant, in Sydney last year and we’ve worked out a routine that gives my skin all that it needs. When things get unbalanced, I go back and we change it up. I also spend a lot of time on planes, which can be really dehydrating for my skin. Aside from drinking lots of water and avoiding alcohol, I try to board the flight without wearing any makeup. Once I am in the air, I like to wear a hydrating mask for an hour, before applying Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate – it’s my secret weapon for fooling my skin into thinking it’s not in the sky.”

The one place in Singapore she hopes to visit “I’ve never been to Singapore besides being in the airport for a stopover, but I am hoping to visit later this year. I really want to visit the Marina Bay Sands hotel which has an infinity pool on the roof.”
