co-wellness space

The city’s bustling Central Business District (CBD) area has seen a growth in fitness spaces catered to Singaporeans who want to get a good workout but are strapped for time. There’s the uber chic yoga studio opened recently in May and now, there’s a new premium fitness space at the hip luxury mall, Downtown Gallery. GuavaLabs by Guava Pass, a revered fitness subscription provider, has officially opened its sophomore outlet (its first hybrid fitness studio is located at Mandarin Gallery) and a separate standalone boxing concept known as Still.

The new co-wellness lab features four turnkey boutique fitness studios which span across a 5,000 square foot space at the basement of the mall for members and shoppers to partake in a curated range of premium fitness classes such as yoga, taught by Singapore’s top instructors and trainers. All the rooms are equipped with high-quality furniture and amenities and boast a modern and sophisticated interior. There is even a  juice bar and retail space within the boutique gym for an enriching experience.

Wellness experts and instructors will also have greater flexibility in managing their schedules, revenues, and clients as they do not have to be signed on as a part or full-time trainer with a studio or gym owner. Instead, they will be able to rent and host their classes in a fully outfitted studio at GuavaLabs which also gains them access to the four premium rooms, locker rooms, showers, laundry services and all equipment. Trainers also have the option of tapping into the GuavaPass membership network to fill spots and gain exposure to the 60,000-strong GuavaPass community.

GuavaLabs is located at #B1-04/05/06, Downtown Gallery and is opened from 7.30am-9pm daily.
