A quick historical tidbit: Louis Vuitton‘s beginnings flourished with the humble luggage. Their trunks — a collectible today — were the luggages of 19th century voyages, the very genesis of the house rooted in travel. Fast forward two centuries, this ethos still inspires Louis Vuitton bags, garments and watches up till today, and too, its scents. The brand’s olfactory offering spans fragrances for women, a recently released range for men, and the latest addition, (really gorgeous) candles.

Available in four scents (L’Air du Jardin, Ile Blanche, Feuilles d’Or and Dehors Il Neige) inspired by the the great outdoors, the house’s master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud’s intention was to carry these notes into one’s home — enabling a sensorial journey with the light of candle. Housed in handmade ceramic pots with gilded lids (that also serves as the candle’s base), they easily double up as stylish decor for the home and office.

Available at Louis Vuitton boutiques located at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Ngee Ann City, Ion Orchard and Changi Airport from Oct 15.
